Rehoboth Beach
events, including the Sea Witch Halloween Festival & Fiddler's Convention in late October, the world famous Punkin Chunkin' contest in early November, and the Fourth of July Celebration complete with fireworks, fills the city’s calendar. Dozens upon dozens of special events are found in the area, some of them ongoing, such as the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Entertainment during the summer months. The following is a list of some of the major special events in Rehoboth, but it is, by no means, a complete list. For a complete list of the events when you visit the area, check with the local Chamber of Commerce or Visitor’s Bureau.
The “All You Can Eat Pancake & Sausage Breakfast and Annual Summer Bazaar,” usually held in July.
Annual Delaware State News Sandcastle Contest – in August at the north end of the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk.
Annual Rehoboth Art League Outdoor Fine Art & Fine Craft Exhibit – Usually held the middle of August at the Rehoboth Art League, 12 Dodds Lane.
Annual All Saints' Parish Antiques Show - One of the premier shows on the East Coast. This has been an annual event for 55 years and features high quality furniture, china, jewelry, glassware, porcelain and other goods. At the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, usually held in August.
Nanticoke Indian Powwow – This September event is sponsored by the Nanticoke Indian Tribe. Located within the Nanticoke Indian community, on Route 24 near Oak Orchard.
Annual Elvis Festival in Dewey Beach - 40-50 Elvis impersonators compete for prizes at the Rusty Rudder, Dewey Beach. Usually held in September.
Annual Fall Sidewalk Sale. Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Resort Area, held in October.
Annual Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddler’s Festival in Rehoboth Beach. Fun for the whole family, enjoy hayrides, costume parade & contest, Rough Riders Horse Show, Orange Glow on the Boardwalk, the Sea Witch Hunt, Scarecrow Making and much, much more.
